It is the autumn of 1942. A new German offensive is targeting the vital oil refineries of the southern Caucuses and the city of Stalingrad, a vital transportation and communication hub for the Red Army. German Field Marshal Friedrich von Paulus commands the 6th army and has been ordered to take Stalingrad at all costs. Russian general Georgy Zhukov, desperate to save the city and the Motherland, is determined to obey Stalin's Order No 227: Not a step back!
