Europe Large 4--The Great War

Based on Europe Large, this map is based on the military situation one month after the assassination of Archduke Francis Ferdinand, heir to the thrown of Austria-Hungary. Ferdinand was killed by Serbian nationalist Gavrilo Princip on June 7, 1914, and now the Austro-Hungarian Empire has issued an ultimatum to Serbia, surrender or prepare for war.
However, Russia had other plans. The Russians had signed a defensive alliance with the Serbians which they were ready to honor. They began to mobilize their large reserve army, as well as prepare the standing armies on the border for battle.
Austria-Hungary, now faced with the threat of Russia's enormous army, nicknamed "the steamroller", called on their own ally, Germany, to help them. The German's declared war against Russia and began to prepare. But the escalation wasn't finished yet.
The French would not miss a chance to seek revenge on their German rivals, and entered the war. Germany, now faced with a two front war needed a plan. They tried to quickly crush France with an early strike, then move troops to the Russian front to halt "the steamroller". The Germans attacked France, but had to crush neutral Belgium to do so.
This violation of Belgium's neutrality brought the British, who had been spoiling to knock Germany down a knotch for a decade, into the war. Now this was a World War, and the stage was set for a dramatic fight. Can the German's overwhelm the French before British forces arrive to assist them? Will the massive Russian army rally, or can the Austro-Hungarians, and Germans hold their own in the East. What will the unalligned countries, the Italians, Spanish, Scandanavians, Balkan Countries and the Ottoman Empire do?

The thin white lines over water denote a two-way connection between territories, while the thicker white arrow denotes a one-way connection. The British Royal Navy dominates the North Sea, so the allies are allowed to invade Norway, but they cannot be invaded by that route.

Team 1: Central Powers (Germany and Austria-Hungary)
Team 2: Russia (and Serbia)
Team 3: Allies (Britain, France, Portugal, and Greece)
Team 4: Unalligned Countries (Spain, Norway, Sweden, Italy, and the Balkan States.
Team 5: Ottoman Empire
Team 6 (Empty): Neutral nations (Holland, and Switzerland)

Thanks to Daniel Myers, author of the "Europe Large" maps that this is built off of. The 3 maps are really fun, and I recommend them to everyone.
