The poll results are quite telling. Is "being cool" teaming? It depends on the situation, but most of the time it is.

So that means it should happen less. But diplomacy will always occur. Other players at least have the ability to respond to such 'coolness' if it's in the open, which is much different than secret-teaming. I don't relish the idea of trying to write a clear-cut policy about such a slippery issue. Not all issues can be solved by bannings. Some things the community has to hash out with discussion and debate. There have been a number of good points brought up in this thread already about this.

One of the great features about twitch games was there wasn't enough time to do this. The game just went down hard and fast.

people do not do that with the same players over multiple games. It depends on who has what. If it is teaming then it is "impromptu" teaming. O do not think your scenario is an actual danger, nimmy.

If "cool till three" is not teaming, then it is RAW/ranking manipulation. Imagine this, if you will. Darth Rellek and Lantern are in the top ten on Sunday. They get the bright idea to "be cool till three" for most of the day. Granted this would not work out well for every game, but they could easily make sure either both of them or one of them were in the top three of the rankings if bio was the "chase" battleground.

If you all agree this is teaming, for goodness sakes do not go on a banning spree! Write a formal rule addressing the practice specifically of "cool till 3". It is being used by people who do not consider it teaming. Warn them first. I do not engage in cool till 3, but players deserve to be told not to before banned.

Highly honourable.
I just tried to help Minister de Lux after one game, when he killed one person, half killed another, and effectively handed the game (next turn) to the winner.

I asked him if he'd worked it out, he said yes.

Next game, proceeded to do exactly the same thing again. Half killed one, killed another, winner took the game next turn.

I will take your advice and persist in helping these noobs. Even if they're French.

Was shocked when I found out this newer type person, but still over 100 games, did not know what the player info box was, how you could tell how many cards people had, or how much cash was.

Think this may be the reason so many player are being considered asshats. Of course we have that 1% that enjoy ruining others game, but there may be many players that might be doing wrong moves and not even knowing they are doing it.

If you feel someone is just playing the game to ruin others game, talk to them. Make sure they know all the aspects of the game, cards, info box, cashes, ect...

It just may help, your game and theirs, and newbies will enjoy the game more knowing this stuff.

Personally, i have never understood the whole concept of BIO....... I understand that it is a map in which lands have been "rubbed out", but why? What is the purpose? I mean, if you wanted them rubbed out, why include them in the 1st place?

I know i am only a drunk Australian, and it takes us more time than other folk to understand things, but after 3 years of playing, i still do not get the whole concept.

BioRome was quite popular for a while during Luxtober, possibly as a result of that day where dustin cruelly forced us all to play bio.
I seem to remember generalissimo shouting at people a lot LIKE THIS during the games.
