sorry to burst your bubble,

but hopefully, under review by snyper, team fire will get another 6 points that as far as i can tell, snyper forgot to put in for team fire which should bring us to 39 points

the points in question are mine, i should have 10 (2 games, 3rd and 2nd place finish) 4+6 points

(if i'm right about this) i'm guessing snyper will correct it when he has a chance

Rankings should be

1) Fire 39pts
2) Earth 35pts
3) Bane 33pts
4) Water 32pts
-) Virtue 32pts
6) Clown Air 21pts

Anyway though, there is still a long way to go.

as long as you get the required with 1 shot you get the ace.

according to kongregate, it's nearly impossible but yet feasible to get 44 aces

I don't see how that is even close to possible without hacking the swf

top of my head, #4 and #10 need at least 2 shots.

I'm sure the next update will aid stability, but it's a great game as is. You're quite right about restarting the phone first, you see the iPhone has 128mb Ram, and (I believe) no swap space. Some apps and games don't play nice and release all their ram on exit, hence a restart helping things sometimes. The iPhone OS will force quit an app asking for unrealstic amounts of ram, rather than freezing the phone and preventing incomming calls. Future iPhone software updates should help too.

Best game ever, no matter how many bugs!

- Sometimes after playing for a while, the army numbers disappear. The game is still playable, but I have no idea how many armies are in each country.

- Large maps can get increasingly slow, which almost seems like a memory heap overflow. Which doesn't make sense when this thing has 8 GB free memory.

- Some maps won't load sometimes, like the Arms Race and USA Warzone maps. They loaded the first time I played them, but not since. When opening them, it starts placing random countries, then crashes.

- Speaking of crashes, they come often. I noticed if I restart my iPhone completely, gameplay is usually better in this respect.

- Some countries are impossible to select or attack, like in the Arrgh Matey map (sp?)

For feature requests, Internet gameplay and more maps would be awesome.

Judging by my calculationsafter day 2, BANE is actually in equal 2nd place at the moment

Earth = 35pts

Air = 21pts

Fire = 33 pts

Water = 32pts

virtue = 32 pts

BANE = 33 pts

Nooless may call us BANE FOR NEVER, but cough, cough, cough, where are you AIR HEADS????????

BTW = our secret weapon, DEEZ, has not even entered the arena; did anyone tell him it was in JANUARY this year?????

Well Craw either way we run into problems. Either we have this situation that we have. Or we have 3+ hour long games. At that point it would take months to finish because only one game could be played a day. That would be absurd. Kind of a lose lose for some people. I like the rule as is because you must adjust your strategy as such.

Team Virtue looks forward to Wednesday, and does not believe that the suspension of Cynd3r will be a distraction.

The Sound does, however, have a request. I did some scrolling, and nowhere did I find a map schedule. I did see something about the settings being posted that day.
That being said, I think that Snype is doing a GREAT JOB despite some obvious luxnical difficulties. . However, to keep from any controversy, I feel that the rest of the teams should get equal heads up on what map is going to be used on a given date. We have no way of knowing whether a person has decided 23 hours (and 20 practice games after) or 2 minutes prior to game time.
I'd like to see a map schedule posted on the dates.
If I've missed the schedule somewhere, please call me a moron and tell me to get out my Sherlock Holmes ensemble.
